Marleny Ramirez

School Counselor

Marleny Ramirez is Atmosphere’s 7th Grade School Counselor. Ms. Ramirez has a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Political Science. She graduated from SUNY Oneonta, where she worked for the Office of New Student Services and the Office of Equity and Inclusion, where her objectives aligned with making the environment on campus inclusive and comfortable for all students regardless of background and identity. Ms. Ramirez enjoys traveling, so much so that she took her work abroad. She spent several months working for a news station in Costa Rica. Afterwards she shifted careers and accepted a teaching opportunity in the Dominican Republic, teaching English to new English learners. She is currently getting her Master’s in School Counseling at Hunter College, and genuinely enjoys working closely with students.
