Atmosphere’s Arts Program is designed to nurture creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking further by exposing students to a range of art forms, including visual and graphic arts. “Atmospherians” benefit from two dedicated blocks of art classes each week, providing ample opportunities for hands-on exploration and skill development. Through these classes, students will make meaningful connections between their artistic experiences and the world around them, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their community. As they engage in various projects, they learn formative genre-specific skills while also enhancing their ability to think critically and collaborate with peers, both in and out of the classroom. Each year, our culminating experience, is an Art Showcase where scholars get to share the work that they have created in various genres including watercolors, canvas (acrylics), sculpture, graphic arts, and more
