Atmosphere Academy is educating and inspiring the next generation of youth. Classes
At Atmosphere Academy, we pride ourselves in making all of our students rising stars. We want our students to be excited to learn. Atmosphere students have three Humanities (Reading, Writing, Social Studies) classes per day and two STEM (Math and Science) classes per day rotating classroom thru classroom in a high school model.

Our Location
Since its existence in August 2015, Atmosphere Academy, a free public charter middle school, has been located at 22 Marble Hill Avenue in the Bronx. As of 2018, Atmosphere Academy has opened up two additional campuses within distance of Marble Hill Avenue.

Our Program
Atmosphere Academy provides its scholars with a Humanities and STEM curriculum designed to create college and career life skills within class sizes that provide the individualized attention our families are looking for. Atmosphere Academy not only supports the General Education population within District 10, but also serves scholars with various Special Education needs. Atmosphere Academy aims to help our scholars succeed by providing instruction throughout an extended school year and day.
Enrichment Opportunities
Atmosphere offers students a range of enrichment opportunities from foreign language to the arts to nature education. Through the creation of a highly engaging school setting, Atmosphere Academy not only prepares students to be ready for college, career, and life, but to succeed once they get there.
- Student Chosen Electives (Boxing, Foreign Language, the Arts, Drama Club, & more)
- Partnerships with organizations such as Westmoreland Sanctuary, Fluent City, and Westchester Land Trust provide scholars the opportunity to experience Nature Education
- Career Exploration (Career X) allows students to explore various job opportunities
- After-School Athletics (Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball)
