At Atmosphere Academy, our Achievement Program for middle and high school students equips scholars with targeted strategies to improve their performance on New York State and Regents exams. Grounded in data analysis, the program helps students set meaningful goals and develop the skills necessary to effectively demonstrate their content knowledge.
With a strong emphasis on mastering both multiple-choice and constructed-response questions, students gain confidence and familiarity with test formats. In addition to academic strategies, the program fosters a supportive environment that promotes a positive mindset toward testing.
This holistic approach prepares students not only for the demands of standardized testing but also helps them develop the resilience, focus, and attitude necessary for long-term success, both in school and beyond.
Atmosphere’s Middle School Achievement program aligns with the NYS English, Math, and Science Exam. The aim of our Achievement Program is to equip students with both the content knowledge and skills necessary to perform proficiently on the NYS Exam and achieve their best scores. In tandem with Atmosphere’s systems, the curriculum materials provide opportunity for remediation, learning of new content, and most importantly practice with prior NYS Exam materials in order to support this goal. The Achievement program emphasizes a balance of independent and group work as well as test taking practice. Our program sets a high bar for achievement, ensuring students are well-prepared for not only the NYS Exam, but all future tests.
Achievement consists of practice both independently but also in collaboration.
Students consistently are provided with their data and progress throughout the year in order to allow them to set goals and analyze areas of success and necessary growth.

At Atmosphere Academy High School, Achievement is driven by a strategic focus on Regents and Advanced Placement (AP) test preparation, designed to support each scholar’s individual academic growth. Our program leverages proven, research-based Regents preparation materials and rigorous, hands-on learning strategies to ensure mastery of content and skills.
Achievement is cultivated during core classroom instruction and through targeted, small-group test preparation sessions. These sessions are structured around diagnostic assessments and performance data, allowing for precise, skill-focused teaching that addresses areas for growth. Scholars are grouped intentionally to maximize peer support, teacher feedback, and focused practice time.
