Atmosphere’s Programs Department facilitates a wide portfolio of extra-curricular offerings to motivate and celebrate student achievement. The Programs team guides students to maximize their academic potential, explore worldly activities , and strive for their career aspirations. Through Atmosphere’s Programs, students unlock unique opportunities with their hard work, high academic performance, positive behavior and citizenship, and testing achievement. These include Enrichment programs like Sailing, Equestrian, Polo, or trips to the Bahamas or Costa Rica, electives like piano and boxing classes, Career Explorations to the New York Presbyterian or New York Stock exchange and much more. These serve not only as student incentives for maximum effort but portals to the greater world around them and their potential future. The STARS Program emphasizes grades and behavior, the Warriors Program emphasizes standardized assessments, and the Explorers Program emphasizes experiential learning. Each develops specific life-long skills that students will utilize to be successful at Atmosphere and beyond into their secondary education, higher education, and careers. MIDDLE SCHOOL STARS
The STARS program encourages scholars to aim high and reach for the “stars.” By recognizing their academic success and commitment to living the core values, Atmosphere strives to help each scholar realize that they truly are “stars.”
MIDDLE SCHOOL EXPLORERS
The Explorers program challenges students to “explore” the world through extracurricular activities. Explorers who have accomplished their academic and behavior goals will be called upon to attempt difficult challenges, gain life-changing experiences, and develop expertise.
MIDDLE SCHOOL WARRIORS
Atmosphere’s Warriors program is designed to motivate and celebrate the growth and accomplishments of students in the Achievement and the NYS state. To ensure a positive culture, academic growth and exemplary achievement are recognized equally. When students receive their data from their NYS test results, they also receive Atmosphere Achievement Warrior gear that highlights their successes on the exam. Students that receive a level 3 and 4 on the exam are given unique gear. Students, families and staff celebrate both their accomplishments and growth. Each student earns the privilege to wear their data through the Warrior apparel.
In Atmosphere’s high school, Programs have 3 components that focus on specific initiatives for Atmosphere students: STARS, Explorers and Champions. Each develops specific life-long skills that students will utilize to be successful at Atmosphere and beyond into their secondary education, higher education, and careers.
HIGH SCHOOL STARS
The STARS Program is a motivator for students to perform well academically and carry themselves as Mindful Leaders. In this way, the STARS Program has proven to be a powerful way to motivate and celebrate Atmosphere’s students. Atmosphere scholars are offered a full suite of rewards that recognize, celebrate, and inform them of their achievement or growth. Students feel celebrated and motivated to exert max effort to reach specific goals that they set based on their data. Students with strong data in their academic classes and behavioral merit/demerit data earn rewards trips. This system develops students’ work ethic, data awareness, and goal setting. It reinforces for students how their performance and effort lead to positive outcomes in life.

HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONS
Atmosphere’s Champions program is designed to motivate and celebrate the growth and accomplishments of students in the Achievement and the NYS state Regents exams in English Language Arts, U.S. History and Government, Global Studies, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Life Science Earth and Space, Chemistry, Physics, Spanish and French.
