Emanuel Figueroa

Teacher Apprentice

Emanuel Figueroa is Atmosphere Academy’s 10th and 11th Grade Teacher Apprentice. He holds a master’s degree in English as a Second Language with a concentration in Urban Education, a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Social Studies and Secondary Education and a minor in Geography, and an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and Liberal Arts. Based in Jersey City, NJ, he brings fifteen years of experience teaching across all grade levels, from Kindergarten through college as an Adult Adjunct Professor.
In addition to his work in education, Emanuel is a skilled soap maker and entrepreneur, operating a plant-based skincare line aligned with his holistic approach to life. He is passionate about empowering high school students and is excited to begin his journey at Atmosphere Academy.
