Valerie O’Brien

Substitute Teacher

Valerie O’Brien is Atmosphere’s 9th Grade Substitute Teacher, guided by an educational philosophy that every learner deserves a dynamic, safe, and student-centered classroom experience that expands knowledge, stimulates interests, and fosters social development. For seven years, Ms. O’Brien taught reading and writing to students in grades 6-12 in public and charter schools in Indiana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Columbia College and a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in English. Ms. O’Brien is committed to creating an engaging and supportive environment for her students at Atmosphere.
