Charmaine Gentles

Data Associate

Charmaine Gentles is Atmosphere’s Data Associate. Charmaine was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and her experiences going through the NYC public school system from K to college influenced her passion and interest in educational equity, research, and advocacy. Charmaine’s past academic and professional experiences include conducting extensive research on the school-to-prison pipeline, restorative justice measures, affirmative action, admission exam culture, and opportunity gaps within education. Charmaine holds an M.P.A. in Public/Non-Profit Management and Policy from NYU Wagner (with a concentration in Advocacy and Political Action) and a B.A. in Political Science from The City College of New York (CUNY).
