Alisha Shepard is Atmosphere’s 8th Grade U.S. History Teacher, bringing a strong academic background and a passion for making history accessible and engaging. Ms. Shepard holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from SUNY Purchase College and a Master of Arts in 7-12 Social Studies Education from Lehman College. With five years of teaching experience, she has taught a range of courses, including Global 9, AP U.S. History, and Government. Ms. Shepard is committed to delivering history lessons in a way that is understandable, relatable, and enjoyable, drawing from her own enthusiasm for the subject that began in her student years. Proud to be part of the Atmosphere Team, she is excited to contribute to her students’ educational journeys and growth.
