Culture Associate

Julio Pimentel is Atmosphere’s 10th Grade Culture Associate. With over a decade of experience, he has dedicated his career to fostering inclusive school environments, enhancing student behavior, and improving academic outcomes. Julio has held various roles, including Dean of Students, dance educator, curriculum developer, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team Lead. He has implemented effective behavior policies, coached educators on classroom management, and led professional development on topics such as implicit bias and anti-racist practices. His innovative work also integrates arts education with academic curricula, leaving a lasting impact on school communities.
Julio holds a Master of Science in Human Services and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Capella University. He is certified in culinary arts and holds a 3rd-degree black belt in Goju Karate. A proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and an experienced competitive dance and cheerleading coach, Julio brings passion and dynamic leadership to empowering students and staff alike. His commitment to empathy, diversity, and student success drives his impactful work in education.
