Kevin Donovan

Social Studies Teacher

Kevin Donovan is Atmosphere’s 10th Grade Social Studies Teacher, bringing over two decades of experience in education and leadership. Born and raised in Queens, NY, Mr. Donovan now resides in Westchester with his wife and two children. He began his teaching career in 1998 in Woodside, Queens, after graduating from St. John’s University. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Donovan explored a career in law enforcement with the NYPD before returning to his passion for education in 2009. Since then, he has worked in the Bronx as a high school social studies teacher and leader. In 2021, he proudly earned his second master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Hunter College and is excited to be a dedicated member of the Atmosphere community.
