Tyza Perdomo

Culture Assistant

Tyza Perdomo is Atmosphere’s 10th Grade Culture Assistant, bringing a wealth of experience in youth and adult counseling and mentorship. A proud mother to her four-legged companion, Bentley, Ms. Perdomo also embraces her roles as a daughter, sister, friend, and mentor to many. She holds a college degree and has traveled internationally, teaching middle and high school students about faith, identity, and essential life skills. With over 15 years of experience, including work with formerly incarcerated and incarcerated individuals on Rikers Island and abroad, Ms. Perdomo excels in connecting with others, uplifting them, and inspiring positive transformation. She is deeply influenced by the ways culture, community, and life experiences shape our identities, and she strives to bring these insights into her work at Atmosphere.
