Social Studies Teacher

Alisha Shepard is Atmosphere’s 11th-grade U.S. History teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from SUNY Purchase College and a Master of Arts in 7-12 Social Studies Education from Lehman College. With five years of experience in education, Alisha has taught various courses, including Global 9, AP U.S. History, and Government. Alisha is dedicated to delivering history lessons in an understandable, relatable, and enjoyable manner for her students. Her passion for history dates back to her own student years, and she strives to instill the same enthusiasm in her students. A proud member of the Atmosphere Team, Alisha is thrilled to contribute to the educational experience and growth of her students.
