Melissa Rivera

Substitute Teacher

Melissa Rivera is Atmosphere Academy’s 8th-grade substitute teacher. Melissa grew up in Riverdale but moved to Florida for high school and college. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with double bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science in 2016 and hopes to start a Master’s program in Special Education. In her free time, you can find Melissa with her nose in a book or indulging in outdoor activities; she recently learned to snowboard. Melissa is excited to be part of the Atmosphere Academy team and to see where the experience can take her.
