Patrick Cooney

Math Teacher

Patrick Cooney is Atmosphere’s 11th Grade Mathematics Teacher. He will be entering his fifteenth year of teaching this year and is very excited to work with everyone! He earned a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Ithaca College and a MAT from Ithaca as well. He is excited to motivate the students further by moving up with the class of 2025 to work on Algebra II/Trigonometry and Precalculus with them. He swims every day and plays the piano often. As the author of 36 books, he prides himself in his accomplishments and shares them with the students because he believes they can accomplish anything equally. Keep pushing yourself, scholars, and know that you can do it!
