Ravyn Gilbert

Middle School Social Studies Associate Manager

Ms. Gilbert is the Associate Manager of the Middle School Social Studies and Art Department. Ms. Gilbert earned her Bachelor’s degree in Adolescent Education with a concentration in History from Pace University, as well as a Master of Science in Teaching Students with Disabilities. Previously, she worked as Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Brightside Academy in the Bronx. She has several years of experience teaching 7th and 8th grade American Studies and supporting teachers and scholars through engaging, inclusive instruction. She is currently pursuing a second graduate degree and certification in School Building Leadership at Russell Sage College. She believes in the power of history education and literacy to build confidence, critical thinking skills, and strong community.
