Rayon Thomas

Science Teacher

Rayon Thomas is Atmosphere’s 7th-grade Grade Science Teacher. Rayon obtained his Education Degree at the Mico University College on his native island of Jamaica, after which he studied Childhood Education at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. Rayon has been a science teacher for over five years and is committed to the task of educating our nation’s children. His educational philosophy states that education is the vehicle that drives one from poverty to a destination called success. Rayon is known for fostering a classroom that encourages social and emotional development while promoting student learning in a student-centered environment. His passion and dedication have resulted in his pursuit of a Master’s in Education.
