Sunoma Hassett

Science Teacher

Sunoma Hassett is Atmosphere’s 8th Grade Science Teacher. Sunoma was born in Orange, California, but moved to NY in 2013 to begin her college career at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she graduated with a dual degree in Special Education and Psychology. She hopes to complete her Master’s Degree in STEM Education. Sunoma has always had a passion for working with children, as well as for trying any sport she could get her hands on. She grew up playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, and always enjoys cruising on her skateboard. In her free time, Sunoma can be found skateboarding in the sun, reading crime novels, and walking her dog, Jax.”
