D’Andre McPhatter Jr. (Coach Mac) is Atmosphere’s 9th Grade Physical Education Teacher. Coach Mac holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and is working on a Master’s Degree from Brooklyn College. As an alumnus of a Catholic school, Sacred Heart High School, Coach Mac understands and supports the unique opportunity that Atmosphere provides. Coach Mac is passionate about ensuring scholars development, academically and athletically and believes that all scholars should have access to an education and support system that suits their individual academic, social-emotional, and athletic needs. He is committed to helping students build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and healthy habits while encouraging them to strive for excellence both in the classroom and on the court or field.
