Tamika Tyes-Briggs

Special Education Teacher

Tamika Tyes-Briggs is a sixth-grade student learning teacher at Atmosphere with over a decade of teaching experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a dual major in Elementary Education and Special Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College, as well as a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Tamika is passionate about ensuring that every student receives the individualized academic and social-emotional support they need to succeed. Guided by her motto, “We may all learn differently, but we can all grow together,” she believes that all students can thrive when given the right support and opportunities.
