Kelli Smith

Special Education Teacher

Kelli Smith is Atmosphere’s 9th Grade Biology Special Education Teacher. Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Biology Education from Union College and Master’s Degrees in Middle School Science Education and K–12 Special Education from the University of Kentucky. With 31 years of teaching experience, including 3 years teaching in New York City after spending the first 28 years of her career in Kentucky, Ms. Smith is passionate about ensuring that all students have access to high-quality education and meaningful support that meets their individual academic needs. Ms. Smith believes that every student has strengths to build upon and deserves high expectations and the opportunity to succeed.
