Omari Wright
Careers Teacher
Omari Wright is Atmosphere’s Careers Teacher. This is his first year teaching at Atmosphere. Omari was a student-athlete at Bryant University and Daniel Webster College were he received his BS in Psychology as a member of the men’s basketball team. He has a passion for education, leadership and youth development. For the past 10 years he has worked in college athletics as a coordinator, sports information director, external operations and assistant athletic director. He has also been a head women’s basketball coach and baseball coach at his former institution. Omari has remained connected to communities in New York City, in particular, Queens NY where he was born and raised. He has successful developed businesses in the health and wellness field and also athletic performance training. He dedicates time offering wellness fitness programs for low- intense and high-intense interval training, and strength and conditioning offseason training for amateur and pro athletes. His goal is to finish creating a scholarship foundation to help youth from low socioeconomic communities to have access to free higher education.
