Terrell Chapman

Math Teacher

Terrell Chapman is Atmosphere’s 7th Grade Math Teacher. Born and raised in New York, lived in both Brooklyn and Long Island, but spent more time in Long Island. He loves both the creativity and the determination of students, and that words of affirmation is always needed for our middle school scholars, regardless of how anyone feels. He graduated from Queens College with his Bachelors in Sociology, and ultimately never even wanted to be a teacher as a profession, but had a natural knack for forming positive, healthy relationships with young kids since working at a summer camp at the age of 14. He aims to make an impact by caring about the overall well-being of scholars, not just the academics, and being a positive source of energy to the workplace as a whole. Outside of teaching, he enjoys playing soccer, going to the gym, and playing music. He has been playing the piano since the age of 6, and can sing as well.
